“Early mental health care builds resilience in children that lasts a life time.”
At Restore Therapy, we know the earliest years shape lifelong emotional health. With over 90% of brain development happening before age five, early support can reduce future emotional and behavioral challenges. Our services help children and caregivers build secure attachments, process emotions, and develop resilience through therapy designed just for children 0-5.
Parents may seek therapy for their child aged 0–5 when they notice:
Frequent tantrums, anxiety, or trouble managing emotions
Aggressive or challenging behaviors, like hitting, biting, or defiance
Sleep or eating difficulties that impact daily life
Stress or trauma, such as a move, divorce, or loss of a loved one
Challenges in forming secure attachments or bonding with caregivers
Delays in social, emotional, or speech development
Separation anxiety or intense distress when away from parents
Sensory sensitivities or difficulty regulating reactions
Early signs of emotional or behavioral concerns
Guidance on supporting their child’s emotional growth

Circle of Security Support Group
-
The Circle of Security Support Group is a parent-focused program that helps caregivers better understand their child's emotional needs, strengthen attachment, and build secure, supportive relationships. Through discussion, reflection, and practical tools, parents learn how to recognize and respond to their child's cues with greater confidence.
-
This group is designed for parents, guardians, foster parents, and other primary caregivers of children of all ages. Whether you're facing specific parenting challenges or simply want to strengthen your relationship with your child, the group offers valuable insights and support.
-
Sessions include guided discussions, educational videos, real-life parenting examples, and opportunities to reflect on your own experiences. The environment is supportive and nonjudgmental, allowing participants to learn from both the Circle of Security framework and each other. Participants leave with practical strategies they can apply at home right away.
-
The group will happen in person at Restore Therapy’s office on SE 9th and Sandy. Child care will be provided. If there is a large interest to be on Zoom we can transition to virtual.
Group starts late summer 2026 and is weekly for 8 sessions.
